Students deliver Red Nose Day funds to Riding Therapy in the Algarve
Once again this year, with the proceeds from Red Nose Day, CIV was able to support Riding for the Disabled in the Algarve (AEDA), who provides riding therapy for young students with special needs.
The organisation coordinators were extremely grateful for the generous donation which will enable several young riders to be sponsored this year. The House captains from Year 6 spent a morning assisting with the activities and getting to know the students who attend the riding therapy sessions. This involved tacking and preparing the horses, helping with games designed to improve both physical coordination and communication skills, working alongside the students and cleaning up at the end of the morning.
